Four Cheyney (4-5:2-3) players recorded double figures but it wasn’t enough as the Wolves fell 85-75 to Slippery Rock (6-2:4-1).  Jason Sabb paced Cheyney with 21 points while team mates Brandon Norfleet, Calvin Brown and Jayvon Beaty added 18, 16 and 11 points respectively. 
Gerald Brooks came off the bench to lead the Rock with 21 points.

Slippery Rock scored the first nine points of the game and never looked back.  The Wolves were able to battle back early in the contest knotting the game at 11 after a Deshawn Curtis three-pointer.  However, the Rock quickly turned things back around as they cruised to a 39-22 half-time advantage.

Five minutes into the second half, Slippery Rock pushed the lead up to game high 26.  The Wolves battled back and cut the lead to eight after a pair of Sabb free throws but the comeback ran out of time. 

Cheyney will take two weeks off for the holidays.  The Wolves return to action on January 4 at Lock Haven.
