Box Score The Wolves snapped a four game skid with a 72-54 victory over visiting Bloomsburg (4-11:2-9).
Deshawn Curtis, Rashaad Slappy and Brandon Norfleet all tallied double figures to pace the Wolves. Curtis lead the way with 21 points and six rebounds including an 8-13 effort from the field. Slappy was 7-10 from the field and converted 3-5 from the charity stripe and from behind the arc for 20 points. Norfleet added 17 including four steals and four assists.
Cheyney (6-9:4-7) jumped out to a 16-5 lead and were able to extend the advantage to 13 after Slappy made a lay-up at the 10:30 mark of the half. However, the Huskies would answer with a 13-0 run to knot the game at 21 with 6:48 remaining in the half. Cheyney never lost the lead and regained their composer pushing the lead back up to six before settling on a 29-26 advantage at the break.
It was all Cheyney in the second half. The Wolves drained three consecutive three pointers to start the half en route to a 15-2 run to break the game open. The Huskies were never able to get the lead back down to single digits.
Lorenzo Christmas paced the Huskies with 28 points and five rebounds.
Cheyney shot a blistering 16-20 in the final 20 minutes.
The Wolves are back in action on Wednesday night hosting Kutztown at 8:00 pm in Cope Hall.
