Jason Sabb scored 22 points and Brandon Norfleet came off the bench and added 17 as Cheyney (5-6:3-4) defeated Clarion (3-7:2-5) 72-60.

Six minutes into the contest Sabb connected on his second three pointer of the night as Cheyney took the lead for good 11-10. A Norfleet lay-up at the six minute mark lifted the lead to 12, before the Wolves settled on a 35-29 lead at halftime.

Cheyney scored the first four points of the second half to push the lead to double figures where it stayed most of the half.

Clarion was led by Mike Kromka.  Kromka netted 17 points while grabbing 15 rebounds. 

Cheyney is back in action on Friday afternoon. The Wolves will host Gannon at 3:00 pm in Cope Hall.
