Deshawn Curtis scored a season high 28 points but it wasn't enough as Cheyney fell to Lincoln 79-68. Calvin Brown chipped in 16 points and led the Wolves with nine rebounds while team mate Jerrod Johnson netted 12 points. Brown also led all players with five blocks.

Cheyney fell behind 15-4 before battling back. The Wolves were able to trim the lead to one, 21-20 after Curtis drained a three pointer from the corner. However, the Lions were able to stretch the lead to 37-30 at halftime.

The Lions started the second half going on a 17-4 run to extend their lead to 20. Cheyney was once again able to battle back and after Curtis drained a pair of free throws with 6:58 to play the Wolves found themselves down eight, 60-52. Cheyney was unable to chip any further into the lead.

The Lions placed four players in double figures and were led by Justin Jackson's 22 points.

Cheyney will jump back into conference play on Wednesday night at Bloomsburg.
