Deshawn Curtis scored 20 points while grabbing 11 rebounds and Jerrod Johnson added 11 points but it wasn't enough as Cheyney (2-7) fell 64-63 to Seton Hill (6-3).

Malachi Leonard paced Seton Hill with 23 points. It was a Leonard free throw with 05: seconds remaining to give the Griffins the one-point victory.

Eight and half minutes into the contest the Wolves owned a 17-8 lead. The Griffins went on a 22-2 run to take their first lead of the night, 30-19. Cheyney was able to battle back. The Wolves cut the deficit to nine at half-time and further trimmed the lead to three, 47-44, six minutes into the second half. A Jonathan Jackson lay-up at the 5:45 mark gave the Wolves their first lead of the second half 56-55. Over the next three minutes the Griffins scored six unanswered points to take a 61-56 lead with 2:27 to play. Mike Drinks got the Wolves to within two after draining a three-pointer. However, Leonard answered with a pair of free throws to push the lead back to four. The Wolves cut the lead in half after Curtis was credited with a tip-in. Cheyney was then able to force a turnover and Johnson knotted the game at 63 with :33 to play. However, Leonard's try from the foul line with :05 remaining proud to be the final point of the contest.

The Griffins converted 23-25 from the charity stripe while the Wolves were only 6-9.
