Deshawn Curtis scored 19 points but it was enough as Cheyney (2-12) fell 68-41 to Gannon (7-7).

Gannnon jumped out to n 11-2 lead four minutes into the game. With Gannon's lead at 18-11, the Knights went on a 9-1 run to take a 27-12 lead. An 8-2 run by the Wolves cut the deficit but the Knight scored the final four points of the half to take a 33-20 into the locker room. Cheyney was unable to get any closer in the second half.

The Knights featured a balanced scoring attack as five players registered double figures. Adam Blazek led the way with 12 points while team mate A'Darius Porter scored 11 points and grabbed 13 rebounds.

The Wolves struggled shooting the ball. Cheyney shot 7-26 (.269) the first half and 5-27 (.185) the second half. The .226 was the worst the Wolves shot all season. Their 41 points were a season low.

Cheyney returns to action on Saturday afternoon at Kutztown. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:00 pm.
