Box Score Kevin Larkin scored a team high 15 points and Jerrod Johnson 13 but Cheyney (1-10:0-6) fell to Gannon (8-4:7-0) 82-51.
Gannon went on a 19-4 the final nine and a half minutes of the first half to snap a 12-12 tie. In the second half, the Knights shot an impressive 70% (19-27) from the floor preventing the Wolves eating into the lead. The Knights also dominated the boards, outrebounding Cheyney 46-16.
Adam Blazek led the Knights with a season high 30 points.
Cheyney is now off for two weeks and will look to regroup. The Wolves are back in action on January 3 & 4 in Cope Hall. Cheyney will host Clarion on that Saturday and Pitt-Johnstown on that Sunday.
