Despite double doubles from Deshawn Curtis and Calvin Brown both coming off the bench, Cheyney (3-21:3-11) fell 78-74 to Millersville (12-11:8-6). Curtis scored 25 points while grabbing a season high 16 rebounds. It was his ninth double double of the season. Brown netted 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Brown has registered seven double doubles.
The game was a nip-and-tuck affair with neither team owning more than a seven point lead. Cheyney took a two point lead into the locker room at half-time. The Marauders took their biggest lead of the night, 42-36 three and a half minutes into the second half. Cheyney was able to battle back and take their biggest lead 57-50 midway through the half. However, the Marauders were able to stage a comeback and tie the game at 62. With three minutes to play the game was still tied. Millersville's Kelvin Parker scored seven of the Marauders final nine points to secure the victory.
Carl Wallace led four Marauders in double figures with 20 points.
The Wolves play their final home game of the season on Saturday. Cheyney will host PSAC East leading and nationally ranked East Stroudsburg. The Wolves will honor their lone senior Deshawn Curtis in a pre-game ceremony.
