Box Score

Calvin Brown recorded his third double double in his last five games and his fifth of the season but Cheyney ( 3-18:3-8) fell 62-56 to Bloomsburg (12-8:8-3). Deshawn Curtis was hampered by foul trouble and still managed to score 18 points.

The first half saw several lead changes with the Huskies owning a 31-28 lead at the break. Bloomsburg owned a seven point lead with 7:38 to play in the half but Cheyney went on a 10-2 run to take a 2423 advantage. It would be the last time the Wolves led. In the second half, with Curtis on the bench with four fouls the Huskies were able to extend the lead to their biggest of the night 10 points, 53-43. But it was Chris Burney who sparked a Wolves comeback scoring six points in a Cheyney 9-1 run to cut the lead to 54-42 with three minutes to play. But a 7-0 run by the Huskies late in the contest stretched the lead back to nine with under a minute to play. A Mike Drinks three-pointer rounded out the scoring.

Dontahe Jordan led the Huskies with 12 points and 15 rebounds. Lorenzo Christmas tallied a game high 19 points.

Cheyney is back in action on Saturday afternoon at 3:00 pm at Mansfield. The game can be heard live over the internet on redzonemedia.com.
