Cory Blake scored 14 of his 16 points in the first half to lead West Chester (8-11:6-7) to a 95-62 over visiting Cheyney (1-17:0-13) in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference contest.  Kevin Larkin paced Cheyney with 14 points.  Team mates Jerrod Johnson and Rafiq Marshall added 12 and 10 points respectively.

Nursing a one point lead five minutes into the contest, the Golden Rams went on a 12-0 run to take control of the contest.  During the spurt, Ben Mingledough scored six of his first half eight points. He finished the game with 11 points.  Mike Wilson also came off the bench to tally 15 for the hosts.

The Wolves battled back cutting the 13 point lead down to eight after Khalil Meadows drained a mid-range jumper.  However, the Golden Rams responded with a 15-0 run to take a 44-21 lead with just over four minutes to play in the half.  WCU went into the locker room owning a 46-25 lead.  The Wolves would not get any closer in the second half.

WCU dominated the back boards; outrebounding Cheyney 57-28.  The differential was the largest of the season.  The loss was also the most lopsided of the season.  The Wolves have now lost 16 straight.

Cheyney is back in action on Saturday afternoon in Cope Hall.  The Wolves will battle the Raiders of Shippensburg at 3:00 PM.
