CHEYNEY, Pa. – Sr. Basir Fulmore scored a team-high 12 points to lead the Cheyney University men's basketball team, but visiting East Stroudsburg University used a balanced attack and hot shooting from beyond the arc to capture a 105-64 victory in PSAC East action Friday night inside Alfred Cope Hall.

Cheyney (1-9, 1-5 PSAC E) kept the game close and trailed by only two 18-16 with 12 minutes left in the first half, the Warriors (8-3, 6-0 PSAC E) closed with a 31-16 run to take a 49-32 edge at the half.

Fr. Jalen Branch scored a career-high nine points, while So. Dikemba Amugo scored eight points and grabbed a team-best nine boards. Jr. Rafiq Marshall registered a team-high four assists, grabbed six rebounds and added seven points.

Ryan Krawczeniuk scored 18 points to lead the Warriors who had four players reach double figures and 15 ESU players scored in the contest.

Cheyney returns to action on Tuesday Jan. 3 to start the new year with a trip to Bloomsburg for a 5:30 PM tipoff with the Huskies.
