WEST LIBERTY, W.V. - Cheyney University men's basketball gets its season underway Friday night at Nov. 10 at 5:30 PM against host West Liberty University to start the MEC/PSAC Challenge.
The Wolves led by second year head coach Dawud Morris will look to blend a group of seven new players to go with six returners who made the inaugural trip of the season.
So. 6-3 G Zahir Stewart, and Jr. 6-6 F Amir Boney are the leading retuning scorers from last years team, Jr. 6-7 C Dikemba Amugo, along with Sr. 6-6 C Craig McGlond Sr. 6-8 C Olin Ugo and So. 6-4 G Jalen Branch
The amongst the newcomers to watch are R-So. 6-3 G/F Jeff Lewis, Jr. 6-6 F Brewster Ward III, Jr. 6-3 G Rodney Jones, Jr. 6-5 F Johnathan Howard, Fr. 6-0 G Cliff St. Juste and F 5-10 G Shaimir Joe.
