WEST CHESTER, Pa. – Host West Chester University took control of the game early and went on to a 107-65 victory over the Cheyney University men's basketball team Saturday afternoon in PSAC East action inside Hollinger Fieldhouse.
Dikemba Amugo led the Wolves (2-19, 3-15 PSAC E) with 10 points Zahir Stewart added nine points and a team-high five rebounds.
Tyrell Long led all scorers with 27 to pace Golden Rams (19-4, 16-3 PSAC E) who reached double-figures in scoring, Frank Rokins pulled down 10 rebounds and scored 10 points.
Cheyney will return home for its final five games of the regular season.
The Wolves will play three home games during the week starting with a Monday night matchup with East Stroudsburg with the tipoff scheduled for 7:30 inside Cope Hall.
The Wolves will entertain Shippensburg on Wednesday night and close the week with a visit from Kutztown University on Saturday February 17, which will be preceded by the honoring of the men's 1977-78 Division II National Championship team following the women's game that tips off at 1:00 PM.
