Box Score Lindsay Ashby had 17 attacks and three kills to pace Cheyney but the Lady Wolves fell 3-0 to the University of the Sciences in women’s volleyball. Denise Hill and Crystal Mann added 12 and 11 attacks respectively. Kennetha Wallace led the squad with eight assists and eight digs.

Desirae Lair led the Sciences with 10 kills while team mate Kaileen Bevenour was credited with 12 assists. Amanda DeAngelo has nine digs to lead the Lady Devils.

The Sciences prevailed 25-10, 25-8 and 25-19.

In between sets 2 and 3 the Lady Wolves took time out to raise funds for Breast Cancer Awareness.  Cheyney has teamed up with "Living Beyone Breast Cancer."   Prizes, including gift cards, t-shirts and candy were placed on one side of the court and for a 50 cent donation anyone could serve a ball over the net.  If you hit the prize on a fly it was yours to keep.  Members of the Lady Devils also dug into their pockets to assist in the fund raiser. 

Cheyney will hit the road for six straight matches before returning home to close out the 2012 campaign with a three game home stand. Those three matches, all against PSAC East foes will be played on November 3 (West Chester), November 9 (Shippensburg) and Senior Day November 10 (Millersville).
