Box Score Denise Hill notched six kills off 20 attacks and team mate Kennetha Wallace was credited 12 digs but it wasn't enough as the Lady Wolves fell to cross town rival West Chester 3-0 in women's volleyball. Lindsay Ashby recorded three blocks.
The Lady Wolves will travel to Kutztown on Wednesday night for their final road match of the year. This match was originally scheduled for last Tuesday but was postponed due to Hurricane Sandy. Cheyney will return home next Friday and Saturday to finish up the 2012 campaign with home matches against Shippensburg and Millersville.
In the first set the Lady Wolves got behind 8-1 and could not recovery as the Golden Rams won the set 25-9. In set two, West Chester's Alix Orlando won 11 straight points on her serve as the Golden Rams raced out to a 13-1 lead en route to a 25-13 victory. The Wolves battled back late in the set as senior Linda Henderson won five points on her serve for the Lady Wolves. In the third set WCU scored the first five points to take control before winning 25-11.
