Cheyney University hosted day one of the PSAC Crossover Volleyball Tournament in Cope Hall. The Lady Wolves were pitted against California (PA) in the opener and Indiana (PA) in the night cap; sandwiched in between the Golden Bears of Kutztown faced off against Cal and IUP. Cal and IUP came away with 2-0 marks on the day.

In the tournament’s first contest, the Lady Wolves fell in straight sets 25-9, 25-3 and 25-12. Denise Hill led the Lady Wolves with 3 kills. Lindsay Ashby, Virshae Campbell and Nichel Bryant were each credited with double digit attacks. Bryant also led the squad with five digs. In the night cap, IUP downed the Lady Wolves by scores of 25-5, 25-10 and 25-11. Ashby led the way with four kills and 17 attacks. Kennetha Wallace notched four assists. Bryant led the team with five digs.
