Denise Hill led the Lady Wolves with six kills and 26 attacks but it wasn’t enough as Cheyney fell in straight sets to Slippery Rock 25-12, 25-8 and 25-11 in the opening match of Day Two of the PSAC Volleyball Crossovers at Cheyney.

Kennetha Wallace and Virshae Campbell were each credited with six digs but that faired in comparison to nine by Nichel Bryant.

In the night cap Cheyney fell 3-0 (25-4, 25-4, 25-11) to Clarion. Hill once again led the way for the Lady Wolves with three kills and 18 attacks. Lindsay Ashby added 16 attacks. Bryant paced Cheyney with seven digs.

Cheyney returns to action Friday night in Cope Hall to face Lock Haven at 7:00 pm. On Saturday the Lady Wolves have a rare double header with East Stroudsburg and McDaniel College. The match against ESU is slated to start at 4:00 pm while the contest against McDaniel is set to tip at 6:00 pm.
