Box Score Cheyney dropped the first match in three straight; 25-15, 25-15 and 25-21.
Lindsay Ashby recorded five kills and three blocks to lead the squad. Kennetha Wallace had a strong match and was credited with 21 attacks and 11 digs. Nichel Bryant and Crystal Mann also registered 12 digs apiece.
The second match also features the Bulldogs (3-12) winning in straight sets; 25-15, 25-19 and 25-20.
Denise Hill paced the Lady Wolves in the nightcap with eight kills and 22 attacks. Wallace and Virshae Campbell led the team with six assists apiece. Wallace and Bryant were credited with 10 digs apiece.
"This was a very competitve pair of matches for us," commented Coach Joan Braid. The girls are playing better and better every time we take the court.
The Lady Wolves are back in action this weekend in Cope Hall. Cheyney will host Lock Haven at 7:00 pm on Friday and East Stroudsburg and McDaniel on Saturday starting at 4:00 pm.
