Box Score Cheyney jumped out to a 5-2 lead in the first set but could not hold on as the Lock Haven Eagles rallied back to in three sets; 25-13, 25-11, 25-16.
“We had a lot of fun out there tonight,” commented Kennetha Wallace. “We are starting to play better and gelling as a team. I think if we keep on this track the victories will take care of themselves. I know the team really appreciated all of the students coming out tonight to cheer us on."
Denise Hill paced the Lady Wolves with seven kills and 23 attacks. Wallace a freshman from Nashville, TN was credited with a team high five assists and eight digs. Libero Nichel Bryant was also credited with eight digs.
The Lady Wolves are back in action Saturday for a double header. Cheyney will host PSAC foe East Stroudsburg at 4:00 pm followed by McDaniel College at 6:00 pm.
