The women’s volleyball team traveled to East Stroudsburg for the PSAC opener for both schools. The Lady Wolves came away on the short side of a 3-0 score. Cheyney falls to 0-2 overall and 0-1 in the PSAC. East Stroudsburg now stands at 2-3:1-0.

The match scores were 25-8, 25-15, 25-15.

The trio of Denise Hill, Virshae Campbell and Katherine Brooks recorded two kills apiece. Campbell led all her team mates with 12 attacks. Meanwhile Kennetha Wallace paced the team with eight digs.

The team welcomed Crystal Mann back to the line-up after missing a contest last week with a swollen wrist.

This week the Lady Wolves are slated to play at Valley Forge Military Academy on Tuesday night and Chestnut Hill on Thursday night.
