Cheyney and Lock Haven battled twice on the volleyball court with the Eagles coming away with identical 3-0 victories.

In the first match, Lock Haven prevailed 25-16, 25-20 and 25-17. Breanna Joseph paced the Lady Wolves with nine kills off of 31 attacks. Lindsay Ashby was credited with four kills. Kennetha Wallace led the squad with nine assists while team mate Akia Harris recorded 16 digs.

Lock Haven's Lauren Dentler and Sarah Warnagiris combined for 31 kills.

In the second match, Lock Haven won the three sets by scores of 25-17, 25-20 and 25-13. Joseph once again led the Lady Wolves with 10 kills off 17 attacks. Ashby added six kills. Wallace registered nine assists and Harris 12 digs.

Warnagiris paced the Eagles with 11 kills.

Cheyney will regroup this week before traveling to East Stroudsburg on Friday and Saturday to take on IUP, Clarion, Seton Hill and California.
