Cheyney fell 3-0 to Shippensburg in PSAC volleyball action.

In the first set Cheyney had the early lead, 4-3, but the Red Raiders scored the next eight points to take control and go onto score the 25-11 victory. Cheyney battled hard in the second set. The Lady Wolves were down 10-9, before Shippensburg went on a 9-2 run and took the second set 25-16. In the third set the Lady Wolves found themselves down 19-16 but Shippensburg was able to go on a 6-2 spurt to win the set and the match.

Kennetha Wallace led the Lady Wolves with 11 digs and five assists.

Cheyney will be back in action on Tuesday night as the Lady Wolves will host cross town rival West Chester at 7:00 pm.
