The upset minded Lady Wolves fell to league leaders Shippensburg 3-0 in PSAC volleyball action. Lindsay Ashby paced Cheyney with seven kills on 21 attacks. Kennetha Wallace added six assists and 10 digs.

In the first set the Lady Wolves jumped out to a 4-0 lead and still held a four point lead at 17-13. The Raiders nine unanswered points to take a commanding lead and go onto a 25-19 first set victory.

In set two with the score tied at eight, Shippensburg went on a 5-0 run to take control. The Lady Wolves were able to trim the lead to two, 17-15 but could not get any closer. The Red Raiders prevailed 25-17.

In the third set, Shippensburg jumped out to a 5-0 lead and never looked back. Cheyney was able to cut the lead to 15-12, however the Raiders would answer buy scoring the set's final 10 points.

Shippensburg was led by Annie Goerl's seven kills Maura Nolan led the Raiders with 10 assists and Maria Peluso was credited with 11 digs.

Cheyney is back in action Saturday afternoon at 4:00 pm. The Marauders of Millersville invade Cope Hall for another PSAC East contest.
