The Lady Wolves fell to Bowie 3-1 in women's volleyball in their final non-conference game of the season.  Breanna Joseph led the Cheyney with 10 kills off 47 attacks.  Joseph also led the squad with 16 digs.  Kenetha Wallace added a team high 18 assists.

In the first set, with the score tied at nine, the Bulldogs went on an 11-4 run to take control of the set.  Cheyney was able to cut the lead to 21-16 but Bowie scored the sets final five points to earn the 25-17 victory.  The second set was a back and forth affair.  With the score knotted at 15, Bowie rallied to take a 2-0 lead, winning the second set 25-19.  Cheyney got back into the match winning the third set 25-22.  Cheyney was trailing 7-4 early on but rallied scoring the next 11 points to take control.  Bowie would not go easily as they narrowed the gap to 17-15.  The Lady Wolves kept the Bulldogs at bay until Bowie tied the set at 21.  Cheyney scored the next three points and went on to grab the set 25-22.  In the fourth set, Cheyney held the early lead but Bowie rallied to tie the set at 15.  With the set still tied at 19, Bowie scored the next three points but the Lady Wolves answered by cutting the lead to 22-21.  However, BSU scored the final three points of the match to win the fourth set 25-21. 

India Mason led Bowie with 22 kills and Brooke Archer-Simpson was credited with 37 assists.  Marissa Martinez added 20 digs. 

Cheyney will conclude the season this weekend.  The Lady Wolves host East Stroudsburg on Friday night and Kutztown on Saturday afternoon.
