CHEYNEY, Pa - Freshman Alaiya Cave (Omaha, NE, Omaha North High Magnet HS) led Cheyney University (1-17, 0-11 PSAC) in the first day matchups of the PSAC (Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference) crossovers taking place in Kutztown Pennsylvnia.  Alaiya recorded 5 kills and 4 blocks in the first game versus powerhouse Edinboro University (20-2, 9-1 PSAC).  She followed that performance with 6 kills and 2 blocks in the second game veruse Slippery Rock University (9-15, 2-9 PSAC).

Junior Chelsea Hutson (Phoenix, AZ, Apollo HS) helped out with 2 kills and 1 block against The Fighting Scots and recorded 4 kills against The Rock.  Junior Akia Harris helped the Lady Wolves remain competitive totaling 7 and 13 digs respectively during the matchups.  Cheyney University is back in action Saturday as they face Gannon University followed by Mercyhurst University during the second day of the PSAC crossovers.
