CHEYNEY, Pa - The Cheyney University volleyball team welcomes, HBCU Rival and CIAA foe, Bowie State to Cope Hall on Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM in the first of three home matches during homecoming week. 

The Wolves (1-9, 0-4 PSAC Southeast) step out of conference for a match vs the Bulldogs (currently with a 2-10 overall record, with a match vs Washington Adventist this evening), then return to PSAC action against, Central Division oppopnents over the weekend, Lock Haven is in town on Friday at 7:00 PM and then on Saturday, Pitt. - Johnstown comes to town to close out the week with the first serve scheduled for 11:00 AM.

Throughout the month of October, the Cheyney University volleyball team will be accepting donations for Living Beyond Breast Cancer (LLBC). LLBC was founded as a local agency that is now in its 25th year providing programs and services to help people whose lives have been impacted by breast cancer. A season ago the the Wolves and Bulldogs split a home and home series, with each winning on its home floor. Chelsea Hutson recorded a double-double in both of the matches for Cheyney.

The Wolves captured the first meeting, behind 15 kills and 17 digs from Hutson and 31 assists and 15 digs from Nishay Carrier, in a five set thriller inside Cope Hall. The Bulldogs responded a week later with a four set triumph inside A.C. Jordan Arena, with Hutson recording 11 kills and 13 digs for the Wolves.

The two teams will meet again, in Bowie, Md., on Tuesday, October 18 at 7:00 PM for the rematch.
