ERIE, Pa. – Cheyney University women's volleyball opened its final road trip of the season with a straight sets loss at Gannon University in PSAC action Friday night inside of the Hammermill Center.

Chelsea Hutson led the Wolves (3-20, 0-14 PSAC SE) with nine kills and added five digs.
Gannon 23-3, (12-2 PSAC NW) scored the final nine points to capture the first set 25-11, and then went on to take the second set 25-10 and the third 25-11 to keep pace with Edinboro at the top of the PSAC Northwest.
So.
Virshawna Campbell added six kills with six digs, while Fr.
Mary Flores recorded a team-high seven digs with seven assists.
Fr.
Bryanna Taylor registered a team-best eight assists and Fr.
Ciani Ross recorded her first career- assist with four digs.
Cheyney heads over to Mercyhurst on Saturday for a match-up with the Lakers scheduled for a 1:00 PM fist serve.
