PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Cheyney University volleyball team travels to Philadelphia tonight to take on the University of the Sciences for a non-league battle starting at 7:00 PM inside Bobby Morgan Arena.

The Wolves (0-3), dropped a 3-to-1 decision at Goldey-Beacom College, last time out, after picking up the victory in the opening set behind five kills from So. Virshawna Campbell. The Lightning captured the final three sets to secure the win.

Campbell registered her first career double-double with 11 kills and 14 digs. Fr. Mary Flores also recorded a double-double, the first in her career, with 14 assists and 12 digs.

Cheyney will be squaring off with its second straight CAAC foe, while the Devils (0-2), are facing their third straight PSAC South opponent. USciences were swept by West Chester and Kutztown in their first two matches of the season.

After tonight's match, the Wolves will take on The Lincoln University, in the "Battle of the First" on Thursday night at 7:00 PM inside Cope Hall.
