WEST CHESTER, Pa. - Four Cheyney University men's basketball players finished in double-figures, but the outcome was never in doubt as crosstown rival West Chester University defeated the Wolves 102-71 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Eastern Division action Wednesday night inside Hollinger Field House.
Eugene Lett led the Wolves (2-21, 1-19 PSAC E) with 16 points and four rebounds,
Juwan Mullen added 11 points and a team-high three assists,
Imir Bailey also scored 11 points and tied for team-best with four rebounds and
Basir Fulmore scored 10 points off the bench for the Wolves.
The Golden Rams received a game-high 20 points each from Tyrell Long and Avery Brown, Long matched teammate Matt Wiseley for game-high honors with nine rebounds.
One bright spot for Cheyney was free-throw shooting. The Wolves shot 25-of-29 form the charity stripe a season-high 86.2%.
The Wolves close the road portion of their schedule on Saturday afternoon at Bloomsburg with the tipoff scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
