LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Jr. Imir Bailey led the Cheyney University men's basketball team with 11 rebounds with 11 points, but host Lock Haven University scored the first 12 points of the game en route to a 95-78 victory Wednesday night in PSAC East action inside Thomas Fieldhouse.
Fr. Jalen Branch paced the Wolves (2-23, 2-18 PSAC E) with a career-high 12 points making all six of his free-throw attempts with a career-best five rebounds. Amir Hinton led all scorers with 21 points to pace the Bald Eagles (11-12, 7-12 PSAC E).
Four Cheyney players finished with nine points each; Jr. Rafiq Marshall, Sr. Basir Fulmore, Jr. Khaalis Carter and Fr. Zahir Stewart.
Bailey made 7-of-8 free-throws, Fulmore added a game-high five steals with four assists and six rebounds while Jr Olin Ugo finished with eight points.
The Wolves head to Shippensburg on Saturday for a 3 p.m. tipoff with the Raiders in the final road game of the season.
