CHEYNEY, Pa. – Jr.
Rafiq Marshall equaled his career-high with 27 points, his third-straight game with over 20 points, to lead the Cheyney men's basketball team, but visiting West Chester University prevailed 87-80 in PSAC East action inside Cope Hall Wednesday night.
Marshal led all scorers in the first half with 14 points as the Wolves (2-21, 2-16 PSAC E) took a 42-41 lead into the break. The Golden Rams (10-12, 8-9 PSAC E) used a 10-0 run early in the second half to take control of the contest.

Craig McGlond scored a career-high 17 points and Fr
Zahir Stewart added 16 points off the bench.
Marshall had another excellent all-around game with six assists five rebounds and four steals. Jr.
Issac Bittle came off the bench to finish with six points and five rebounds to tie Marshall for team-high.
Malik Jackson scored 20 points dished out eight assists and grabbed five rounds to lead the Golden Rams, Tyrell Long pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds and added 17 points.
West Chester won the battle of the boards 45-30, Cheyney matched a season-high with 22 assists.
The Wolves return to action on Saturday afternoon when it hosts Kutztown University with the tipoff scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
