CHEYNEY, Pa. - The Cheyney University men's basketball team returned to Cope Hall for the first time in 2018, but visiting Millersville University jumped on the hosts with a 21-point run to take control midway through the first half, en route to a 90-48 victory inside Cope Hall on Saturday afternoon in PSAC East action.
Jeff Lewis led Cheyney (2-17, 2-13 PSAC E) with 13 points and Cliff St. Juste scored nine.
Four Marauders (8-15, 6-11 PSAC E) reached double-figures in scoring with Jordan Green and Marcus Adkison leading the way with 22 points each.
Derrick Biney added seven points for the Wolves, while Craig McGlond pulled down a team-high five rebounds.
Cheyney held a 9-7 lead following a layup and three-point shot from Lewis, but the Marauders would quickly tie the game at 9-9 and score the next 21 points, which included five three-point shots.
The Wolves return to action on Wednesday night at 7:30 as they host Bloomsburg in another Eastern division match-up inside Cope Hall.
