CALIFORNIA, PA – The Cheyney University women's volleyball team concluded its trip to western, Pa. by falling in three sets in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference crossover match vs Seton Hill University in Greensburg, Pa., Saturday afternoon inside the McKenna Center.
The Wolves, (1-7, 0-2 PSAC SE), were led by So. Alaiya Cave who collected six kills and Sr. Chelsea Hutson added five. Fr. Bryanna Taylor led Cheyney with 10 digs and eight assists.
The Griffins (10-4, 2-0 PSAC SW) who are in the Southwest Division, were led by Katie Wenson with 11 kills and Taylor Sabol recorded 34 assists.
Cheyney returns home on Friday, September 30, to open a six game home-stand against, another PSAC Southwest Division opponent, Clarion University (7-6, 2-0 PSAC SW) at 7:00 p.m. inside Cope Hall.
