Christina Jordan scored 8 points to lead Cheyney (0-1) but it wasn’t enough as the Lady Wolves fell 97-32 to Virginia State.  Shayna Miller scored the first two points of the game but the Trojans scored the next 12 to post a 10 point lead and never looked back. 

Virginia State jumped out to a 51-15 lead at the break and kept the pressure on the entire second half.  Cheyney struggled shooting and holding onto the ball.  The Lady Wolves were 11-50 (22%) from the field and committed 43 turnovers. 

Cheyney will look to regroup by taking two weeks off before hosting IUP and Cal (PA) on December 1 -2.
