Bloomsburg jumped out to a 10-0 lead and never looked back as the Huskies downed Cheyney 78-35. The Lady Wolves were led by Kyra Hines Allen. The sophomore tallied 15 points on 7-14 shooting from the field.

Cheyney struggled shooting the ball in the first half converting only 4 of 22 attempts. The Lady Wolves were also plagued by turnovers. Cheyney coughed up the ball 17 times during the first twenty minutes.

During the second half the Lady Wolves shot much better, hitting on 10 of 23 tries but could not cut into the Bloomsburg lead.

The Lady Huskies were led by Catherine Noack. Noack led all scorers with 22 points and was a perfect 8-8 from the field, 6 from and the arc, and converted her only free throw.

Cheyney returns to action on Saturday afternoon against the Mountaineers of Mansfield. Tip-off is slated for 1:00 pm in Cope Hall.
