India Cross came off the bench to score a career high 11 points but it has enough as Cheyney (1-23:1-20) fell 80-62 to Shippensburg (19-7:15-6) in the Lady Wolves final road game of the season. Kyra Hines-Allen led the team with 19 points and Lachelle Miller scored 13.  Destiny McFarlane led all players with 11 rebounds. 

Cheyney jumped out to a slim one point lead as the first media timeout was called.  However, the Raiders went on an 11-1 to take control of the contest.  Nursing a seven point lead, Shippensburg went on 13-3 run to push the lead to 17.  The Raiders lengthened the lead to 46-24 at half-time. 

The Lady Wolves won the second half out-scoring Shippensburg 38-34 but never got the deficit below 15. 

Shippensburg won the game from the foul line were they shot 30-40 and Shawna Wert was a perfect 10-10.  Cheyney only got to the charity stripe 20 times and converted 12. 

Dana and Shawna Wert paced the Red Raiders with 16 and 14 points respectively.

Cheyney will host the season finale against cross town rival West Chester on Wednesday.
