Cheyney (1-19:1-16) fell 94-55 to Bloomsburg (16-5:12-5) in women’s basketball.  Kyra Hines-Allen paced the Lady Wolves with 18 points and six rebounds.  Team mate Nicole Tyndle added 12 points, eight rebounds, three, steals, two assists and a block.

Bloomsburg jumped out to a 12-2 lead and never looked back.   The Huskies took a 47-20 lead into the locker room.  Bloomsburg had a 32 point advantage before the Lady Wolves scored the final five points of the half.  Cheyney struggled shooting in the first twenty minutes.  The Lady Wolves converted only 5-28 shots (17.9%). 

Although the Lady Wolves shot better in the second half (11-37) they could not overcome the big deficit.  The Huskies kept the pressure on as the second half going on a 10-0 to start the half. 

Cheyney never serious challenged in the second half. 

Cheyney will return home on Wednesday night to host Millersville at 6:00 pm in Cope Hall.
