Gannon (15-0) prevailed 81-60 over Cheyney (1-12).
"When we went over the scouting report, we talked about limiting their inside play and we did that to an extent, commented Adams after the game. "We also talked about identify their shooters and that's where we struggled. Losing Lachelle for the second half and not having Alexis didn't help us either. Despite that, we dug ourselves a hole in the first half, yet played 43-38 in the second half. We definitely learned some things and take away some positives from this opportunity. We will get back on the floor for practice and keep striving to improve and move the forward. Our kids are competing and still playing hard."
Lachelle Miller and Kia Whitley-Duncan paced the Lady Wolves with 12 and 10 points respectively. Miller scored all 12 of her points in the first half while Whitley Duncan tallied all of hers in the second half. Gannon's Brittany Batts led all scorers with 28 points.
