Lila Jones and Kia Whitley-Duncan led Cheyney (1-7) but it wasn't enough as the Lady Wolves fell to Lincoln (5-0) 80-63 in the Annual Battle of the Firsts.  Jones netted 14 points while Whitley-Duncan scored 10. 

Taschell Phillips gave the Lady Wolves a slim 26-25 lead with 4:16 to play in the first half but Lincoln closed the half on an 11-5 run.  The Lions also used a 14-5 run to start the second half to push the lead to 52-38 with just over thirteen minutes to play.  The lead proved insurmountable as Cheyney would not be able to trim the deficit into single figures. 

Amani Clark placed the Lions with 20 points while Teira Pendleton and Courtney Smith added 12 and 11 respectively. 

The Lady Wolves were able to force 23 turnovers but turned in over themselves 29 times.

Cheyneylooks to regroup during finals this week.  The Lady Wolves will hit the road for contests at Edinboro and Mercyhurst on December 16 and 17 before returning home on December 20 to face Gannon.
