Lady Wolves Fall on Senior Day

Cheyney (4-22:4-17) fell to West Chester (21-4:17-4), as the Lady Wolves honored seniors Destiny McFarlane and Kia Whitley-Duncan in a pre-game ceremony, 86-38. 

The Lady Wolves came out flat shooting only 11% in the first half.  Cheyney got behind from the start as West Chester scored the first 14 points of the game.  The Golden Rams built the advantage to 29 by the time the first half ended.  Cheyney never challenged in the second half.  However, the second half was marginally better for the Lady Wolves but they did get outscored 47-28. 

Dallas Ely and Brittany Sicinski pace the Golden Rams with 15 points apiece. 

The 38 points scored equaled a season low for the Lady Wolves.  Earlier this season Cheyney also scored 38 points in a losing effort to Division I Maryland Eastern Shore.
