Kia Whitley Duncan
Box Score

Kia Whitley Duncan came off the bench to pace Cheyney (4-20:4-15) with 21 points but it was not enough as the Lady Wolves fell 69-60 to East Stroudsburg (10-13:9-10).

The host Warriors jumped out to a 14-2 lead as Cheyney struggled in the early going and could never fully recover.  The Lady Wolves battled back to cut the deficit to five, after Kyra Hines-Allen converted a traditional three-point play with four minutes to play in the first half.  ESU rallied to push the lead to nine, 37-28 at the half.

The Warriors scored the first eight points of the second half to extend their advantage to 17.  Cheyney was only able to cut the lead to single digits in the final minute of the contest.

Jessica Martin led the Warriors with 17 points and 10 rebounds.

Cheyney returns home on Wednesday night to face Lock Haven at 6:00 P.M.
